At BURGER KING®, HAVE IT YOUR WAY® has meaning beyond offering our customers the meals they want. It is delivering on the promise of choice in every way. To fulfill our commitment of giving back to the communities we serve, we're asking our customers in Baton Rouge and New Orleans, Louisiana to decide how we donate $100,000 in each metropolitan area.

Launched in the spring of 2007, Campaign For Your Cause™ provides you with the chance to nominate and vote for the cause you believe is making a difference to improve your community.

Whether you're passionate about education, the environment, medical research or any other cause, BURGER KING® invites you to choose how they donate and HAVE IT YOUR WAY®. Here's how it works:

Nominate Your Cause:

The campaign is kicked off with a call for entries, which you can submit on the home page of this site. You can nominate, once per day, any 501(c)(3) or 501(c)(4) organization of your choice in the following Louisiana parishes:

Baton Rouge: East Baton Rouge, West Baton Rouge, Ascension and Livingston parishes

New Orleans: Orleans, Jefferson, Plaquemines, St. Tammany, St. Bernard, Tangipahoa, Terrebonne and St. Charles parishes

Top ten finalists for each metropolitan area are selected based on the number of nominations, which will continue to be accepted until Tuesday, May 15, 2007 at 11:59 PM CST. Spread the word and tell a friend to nominate your cause.

Vote For Your Cause:

The top ten nominees in both Baton Rouge and New Orleans are then posted on the home page of this site, where you can vote for your favorite cause. Vote once per day at CampaignForYourCause.com or text your vote to 287437 (BURGER). Voting starts Tuesday, June 5, 2007 at 12:00 AM CST and ends on Friday, July 13, 2007 at 11:59 PM CST.

All ten finalists from each of the metropolitan areas receive a piece of the $100,000, based on the number of votes they receive - 1st Place: $50,000, 2nd Place: $25,000, 3rd Place: $11,000 and 4th through 10th Places: $2,000 each.

We'll give you the tools to start, but it's up to you to rally the support - better get out there and campaign for your cause.
